The Living Refugee Archive aims to be fully compliant with copyright and intellectual property rights (IPR) legislation. Where appropriate, the Living Refugee Archive will license materials under a Creative Commons (CC) Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivate Works) license for materials within the collection.

We aim to resolve all copyright issues with authors and/or publishers prior to publishing new materials on the website. Where a CC licence has not been granted, please contact the Living Refugee Archive on XXX to discuss your re-use requirements.

The Creative Commons (CC) Attribution-Non-Commercial-No Derivate Works) license asserts the author’s right to retain copyright over the material. Reproduction is permitted subject to the terms of the license, which will normally apply to educational, private, or research purposes. In accordance with current UK law, we will endeavour to make every effort to gain copyright clearance for resources appearing on the Living Refugee Archive.
